Thank You from Gilda's Club, NYC


The UFT Players received a thank you letter from Allison Lurey, Director of Development for Gilda's Club New York City, thanking us for our recent donation to their organization. The money was raised through the sale of DVDs of this season's Triple Triumphs performances.

Gilda's Club New York City, creates welcoming communities of free support for everyone living with cancer – men, women, teens and children – along with their families and friends. Their innovative program is an essential complement to medical care, providing networking and support groups, workshops, lectures and social activities, all free of charge.

A donation was made to CARE in the name of The UFT Players in the amount of $266. This money was graciously contributed by audience members who attended the recent staged readings of You Can't Take It With You.

Next Month's Staged Readings will Benefit CARE (Haitian Earthquake Relief)




Donations collected at our next event will be sent to CARE Haiti Earthquake Relief.

The staged readings of You Can't Take It With You, directed by Eric Coleman will be held on Thursday and Friday February 4th and 5th @ 6PM.
