Everyone Agrees ~ It WAS Too Marvelous for Words

The UFT Players tribute to Johnny Mercer, "Too Marvelous for Words", held on May 28th and May 29th, was...well, just that! These pictures, taken by UFT photographer Doug Rosensweig, showing Janet Kaplan (top), John DeMicco, Debi Beck, Dan Wasserman and Ken Laufer at the piano (bottom) will appear in the next issue of the NY Teacher, the UFT newspaper. The show, directed by the talented Helen Stanley Glickman, featured solos, duets, a rousing full chorus version of Accentuate the Positive and poetic readings of famous Johnnny Mercer songs.

Stay tuned for new musical productions in the UFT Players' 2009-12010 season which starts in September.
