Original One Act Play Festival a Hit (Actually 9 Hits!)

(Two UFT Playwrights meet on the street in front of 50 Broadway)

Playwright # 1: Hey, how’d you like having a staged reading of your play presented by the UFT Players two weeks ago? I heard you got a lot of feedback on your play-in-progress, right?

Playwriting # 2: Yeah. It was great seeing and hearing all nine plays come to life. Gotta really thank all the fine directors and actors in each of the short works for that. And Elizabeth Rosen for coordinating the production.

Playwright # 1: I agree. So much variety in the writing too. All the playwrights have such unique voices. And the jam-packed audiences seemed to appreciate the efforts of all involved.

Playwright # 2: I’m looking forward to getting started on a new short play for next year's festival.

Playwright # 1: Me too. The UFT Players will let us know over the summer about submitting, right?

Playwright # 2: They always do. Good night. I'm going this way, taking the R.

Playwright # 1: Hey, I'll see you at the Holiday Party, right?

Playwright # 2: Never miss it. See you on the 17th.

  2. Ilene,

Should be able to click on your choices to vote. If there's something missing that you would like to recommend, let me know and I'll add it. I was going to change the poll soon anyway.
