The capacity crowd enjoyed the seven plays read at the UFT Players 4th Annual Original Plays Festival on Thursday evening, October 22, 2009. The original comedies, dramas, modern and period plays sparked a lively Q & A between the audience and the actors and playwrights after the reading.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October), donations generously contributed by audience members (a total of $85), will be donated by the UFT Players to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Organization.
Congratulations to the event producers Elizabeth Rosen (and stage manager), Milton Polsky, Warren Wyss and Jack Koeppel and a special thanks to our house managers; Marjorie Bryant, Helen Stanley Glickman and Barbara Haspel.
