Valerie is an author, entertainment writer, and poet!

People who lose loved ones grieve differently than those whose loved ones 

just pass away.

Long after our loved ones are gone we still carry the emotional baggage and invisible scars of watching them in pain and suffering.

Hopefully my challenging grief journey will be inspirational and give hope to anyone who has lost someone to a terminal illness or disease. 

Remembering that grieving is a highly individual experience.  

Grieving is a process that requires hard work.
