THOUGHTS FROM BIRDIE...
The warm, slow days of summer have given way to the crisp, hurried days of fall. The brilliant floral colors are changing their wardrobes into the wondrous colors of leaves.
I walk through my community garden; the pungent smells of plants are still strong. But the flowers are done for now: stems drooping, seeds dropping. A few tomatoes are still on the vine, waiting to be picked.
A flower’s life is short, but its beauty is eternal. Can’t wait for the spring to come again.
